Majid Mirmontahaei

Majid Mirmontahaei received his B.A. and M.A. in Iran's Contemporary History from Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran.  He has worked as associate or managing editor with several professional periodicals in Iran and the United State, including The Contemporary History of Iran, Dafter-e Daneshha, and Nameh Farhangestan, and as contributing editor for several daily newspapers in Iran, including Hamshahri. Mirmontahaei has authored Sonnat and Modernite dar Musiqi-ye Irani (Tradition and Modernity in Iranian Music) and published articles on Iran's political and cultural trends, and on Iranian music in Persian language periodicals.  He joined the FIS team in 2004 where he currently serves as the managing editor and website, media manager. He contributes to the expansion and remodeling of the Foundation's website.
